802.1 uses three main forms of ballotting for its work. Task Group ballots are fairly informal ballots used by editors to collect comments on work in progress. Working Group ballots are more formal and are used by the chair to determine whether a document is technically complete and ready for standardisation. Sponsor ballots are held outside the 802.1 organisation to solicit wider input at the Standards Association level. These are administered through the MyBallot service offered by the IEEE (and not listed here).
The active ballots page is not working at present.
