stds-802-16: Letter Ballot #3 Results
802.16 Letter Ballot #3 ("To approve IEEE 802.16/D2-2001 {the TG1
draft} and forward it for Sponsor Ballot") closed on 13 March 2001.
The ballot approval ratio was 80.2% (higher than the required 75%),
with a return ratio of 75% (higher than the required 50%). Therefore,
the motion passed. However, the ballot requires comment resolution
recirculation. During Session #12, the comments (802 of them, 352 of
which were technical) were addressed. A revised draft is in
preparation. TG1 expects that more than one recirculation will be
necessary to close the Working Group Letter Ballot.
