The link to the Forwarding AH comments spreadsheet from the temp upload
directory seems to point to a non-existent file, so it's not clear if
folks will be able to download the file before the meeting. I've sent an
email to Roger Marks asking him to correct the problem.

As indicated in the e-mail from the TGj chair, Guo-Qiang Wang (GQ) and
I will coordinate the resolution of the comments that have been assigned
to Ad-hoc Group #1 (Topics: Data Forwarding, QoS).
To help you decide whether you wish to join the discussions in Ad-hoc
group #1, an excel file (ForwardingAhGComments.xls), containing a list
of comments that have been assigned to this group by the chair team,
has been upload to the Temp Directory of the wirelessman upload area.

To deal with the 100 comments assigned to this ad-hoc, I have attempted
to group the comments that could (should?) be dealt together.
To have a meaningful discussion, we need Comments. Please draw a new
column (initial it with your name) in the atatched spreadsheet and
express your opinion (Accept/Reject/Accepted-Modified along with a short
caption of reasoning). Expressing your opinion is not mandatory of
course - but it helps to kick-start a discussion. It will also help us
to separate the contentious issues form the not so contentious ones.
If you wish to join the discussion, please let us (me and/or GQ) know
the following by Tuesday (30/10) AOE
(1) Name with e-mail address (Mandatory).
(2) Time period of the day (expressed in GMT) when you CANNOT attend a
phone call conference
(3) The attached spreadsheet appended with a new column containing your
opinion (Desirable).
Depending on the comments received, we will send a proposal on how to
organize the discussion including call conference schedule etc.
The most crucial thing at this stage is to participate by providing your
inputs so that we can separate the contentious comments from the not so
contentious ones and organize the discussion such that comments/issues
that need discussion are allocated the required time.

We have been conducting the comment resolutions on the initial draft
since last session.
You may have found out the Call for Reply Comments on the resolutions
and the comment database updated and uploaded; 802.16-07/045r3,

This is to announce the setting up of the ad-hoc groups, to be conducted
in parallel as agreed during the last session (ref: IEEE
802.16j-07/026), with which we can expect to have some comment
resolution recommendations.

Each ad-hoc group chairs are requested to host the assigned group,
following the process below:
-to initiate its activity by submitting an opening message to the WG
email reflector by
* identifying the topic for discussion (and sub topics, if any) and
comments assigned,
* noting the contact point of the ad-hoc group for the members being
interested in the ad-hoc,
* requesting members to submit their participation intentions so that
the chair can know who to join the group and communicate with them, and
* using the email reflector for teleconference announcement,
information exchange, etc., so that the activity can be visible by every
members,
and
- to hold the ad-hoc sessions.
Then each ad-hoc group is requested to submit their comment resolution
recommendations. In case there found no recommendation to any comment,
it will then be forwarded to the TG session for review.
Please note that the comment resolution recommendations from each ad-hoc
group will be due by Monday 5 November, 2007.
Your kind cooperation would be much appreciated.
