Re: [STDS-802-16] +++IEEE 802.16 Letter Ballot Recirc #26c (on P802.16Rev2/D4) is now open+++

802.16 Members,

I want to remind you that this letter ballot will be closing a few days.  I also want to remind you the schedule that was agreed to at the 802.16 Closing Plenary at Session #54 in Orlando (see slide 7 from <http://ieee802.org/16/maint/#08_009>):

~April 4             Target to generate and release Rev2/D3a, D4

~April 4             Rapporteur groups start harmonization work

~April 4             Initiate Recirc LB #26c

~April 19           Close LB #26c

~April 20           Open a call for reply comments

~April 30           Close call for reply comments

May 12             Rapporteur Groups complete harmonization on ballot comments.

One of the reasons for the early recirc was to allow more time for the reply comments and also to allow time prior to the Macau meeting for the Rapp groups to get the letter ballot comments and contributions harmonized.

Also I wish to remind you that the goal that the Maintenance Task Group set in Orlando was to have all harmonization work done on this recirc (another reason for the longer reply comment period and the extra time for the Rapp groups), with the intent that the subsequent recirc (LB#26d) would be a confirmation ballot for going to Sponsor ballot, allowing us to request approval at the next 802 plenary in July.

I am asking the membership to help make this happen!

Jon
