stds-802-handoff: 802.21 EC Approval
Good news!
On Friday 14th, the 802 Executive Committee approved the forwarding of
the 802.21 PAR to NESCOM. This will be handled under the continuous
processing rules, since it is too late to get on the NESCOM December
meeting agenda.
Approval was also given to extend the ECSG, on the basis that NESCOM
approval may well not be available in time for the next interim in
Vancouver in January.
Assuming approval is granted in time for the next plenary, the group
will meet as the 802.21 working group and elections will be held at the
end of the week.
Anyone thinking of standing in the elections should consult the LMSC
rules and will have to submit the appropriate documentation to the EC.
