10-13 November 2008: Session #58 in Dallas, Texas, USA: Part of the IEEE 802 Plenary Session
12-15 Jan 2009: Session #59: Corporate Host NextWave Wireless has found difficulties in making arrangements at the original site of Rio de Janiero, Brazil, and plans to propose an alternative venue in San Diego, CA, USA. This proposal, along with any other proposals that may arise, is planned for discussion at Session #57.
9-12 March 2009: Session #60 in Vancouver, BC, Canada: Part of the IEEE 802 Plenary Session
4-7 May 2009: Session #61 in Cairo, Egypt.: Hosted by Fadel Digham and Ahmed Shalash, with National Telecom Regulatory Authority of Egypt (NTRA) as Corporate Host.
13-16 July 2009: Session #62 in San Francisco, California, USA: Part of the IEEE 802 Plenary Session

Future IEEE 802.16 Interim Sessions

For the selection of future IEEE 802.16 Interim Sessions (typically held near the middle of January, May, and September), please see the IEEE 802.16 Interim Session Guidelines. Hosting proposals are welcome at each Plenary Session, where the Working Group normally chooses the site for the Interim Session to be held ten months later.

Future IEEE 802 Plenary Sessions
