Proposed IP-OFDMA Addition to Rec. ITU-R M.1457 (IMT-2000)

The IEEE 802.16 Working Group on Broadband Wireless Access Standards

Background
In November 2006, IEEE submitted contribution 8F/1065 (IEEE L802.16-06/031r2) to ITU-R Working Party 8F proposing the inclusion of a new "IP-OFDMA" radio interface, based on IEEE Std 802.16, in ITU-R Rec. M.1457. Working Party 8F has devised the alternative name "OFDMA TDD WMAN".

IP-OFDMA Information and Evaluation Group Coordination Forum
IEEE 802.16 is providing a web forum for information, discussion, and coordination regarding the IP-OFDMA proposal. Evaluation Group participant are particularly welcome. To subscribe, or to read the archives of previous postings, see the IP-OFDMA Information and Evaluation Group Coordination Forum at http://ip-ofdma-forum.wirelessman.org.
