802.16 Session #4: Logistics

Session #4 of the IEEE 802.16 Working Group on Broadband Wireless Access took place on November 8-11, 1999 as part of the November 8-12 IEEE 802 Plenary Session at the Hyatt Regency Kauai, 1571 Poipu Road, Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii, USA.

Breakfast and Breaks
For session registrants, continental breakfast is served from 7:45-9:00 am. Coffee breaks are scheduled for 9:45 am and 2:15 pm.

802 CD-ROM
An updated CD-ROM of all 802 standards will be distributed to members of 802 Working Groups for their limited personal use.

Location and Air Travel
The Hyatt Regency Kauai (at 1571 Poipu Road in Koloa) is in the Poipu Beach district of the island of Kauai, 16 miles from Lihue Airport (code LIH), with very frequent service to and from Honolulu International Airport (code HNL). Most airlines will require that you allow a two-hour layover in Honolulu. However, you may well be able to catch an earlier flight.
