Air Travel
Denver International Airport is one of the world's largest and most advanced airports. The official airport code name is DEN, though locals refer to it as "DIA".

You should be aware that an especially large number of flights on the primary airline serving DIA have been delayed or cancelled this summer. It appears that the problem will extend into September. You might wish to read an article on the recent flight delays and cancellations and how to cope with them.

Colorado Springs Airport is 60 miles and 70 minutes away.

Airfare Discounts
IEEE members receive substantial airfare discounts when booking worldwide air travel with IEEE Travel Services. The discounts are typically 10-15% off any published fare.

Shuttle from Denver International Airport
SuperShuttle will provide service at a group discount rate of $27 round trip if you mention "RAWCON" (the regular price is $17 each way). Shuttles serves this route every 15 minutes from 5:00 am - 6 pm, and then as needed through midnight. They return to the airport every half hour from 5 am through 5 pm and afterwards by reservation; the schedule shows a 60 minute trip.

To buy a ticket, look for the SuperShuttle booth on the west side of the terminal (Level 5) as you exit the train from the concourses. SuperShuttle pick-up is located on island number 3; use door 507 or 510.

You do not need advance reservations to get to the hotel, but you should have them for your return. You will receive a schedule of return trips with your ticket.

Taxi from Denver International Airport
Taxis are plentiful. The fare is about $50.

Auto Rental
