802.16 Session #10

Session #10 (an 802.16 LMSC Plenary Session) of the IEEE 802.16 Working Group on Broadband Wireless Access took place on 6-10 November 2000 as part of the November IEEE 802 Plenary Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Tampa in Tampa, Florida, USA.

The 802.16 Plenary Session opened at 1 pm on Monday and was scheduled to close by 5 pm on Thursday. Monday morning was available for Task Group meetings. Friday morning was used to process documents and prepare materials for Working Group Letter Ballots. No formal meetings took place on Friday. Neither Monday morning nor Friday morning attendance was recorded for purposes of tracking Session #10 participation.

The pre-registration period, during which the registration fee was $250, closed Wednesday 25 October 2000. Afterwards, the registration fee was $300. There were several ways to register:

Participation, Membership, and Voting
Everyone is welcome to register for, attend, and participate in 802.16 sessions. Voting in the Working Group and Task Groups is limited to 802.16 Members. 802.16 currently has 108 Members. In addition, 55 Potential Members will become Members by registering for and attending any part of Session #10. Twelve Members in Peril will lose their Membership if they do not participate in Session #10.
