Thanks for your comment. I agree that LBT is not included in the simulations parameters defined in the evaluation methodology Annex of the TR. I also agree that we can consider it as a technical recommendation instead of a comment on simulation assumptions. We can work on it during the PM2 meeting.

Thanks for the quick work, Alireza. I have one comment –

 

The first recommendation, re the use of exponential back off is not actually a comment on simulation. What we want is for them to incorporate backoff into their technical solution for LAA. Perhaps the liaison needs to have one section for this technical comment, and another section for comments on their proposals simulation parameters/scenarios.

All,

 

               At today’s 802.19 meeting there was a presentation regarding LAA evaluation.  Here is a link to the document,

               Alireza will draft a short Word document tonight based on this presentation and post it on Mentor tonight.  That document will be considered in 802.19 PM2 meeting tomorrow.  Anyone who is interested in commenting on the document is invited to attend the meeting.  Once it has been posted I will forward the link to the reflectors. I have sent this to 802.19, 802.11, 802.15 and 802.18, and EC reflector.
