Dear Darcel,

Newcomer training is shown on the schedule as starting at 10 AM. Now that the EC meeting ends at 10, that is too late. It overlaps most Working Group plenaries. We want new attendees to be able to attend their WG plenary and also, it is a problem to have a leader for the training if it conflicts with WG plenaries.

We moved it last time to 9 AM which should have been for all plenaries (as long as we keep the current Monday EC meeting time). Please move it to 9 AM and change the template schedule so that we keep that.

My apologies for not noticing the problem until relatively late.

The web pages and announcements that mention the Newcomer meeting should also be updated to reflect the new time.

Regards,

Pat

Importance: High

Attached is the current schedule for the July plenary session. Please note the following:

1. WGs are required to share space. Assigned rooms are subject to change.  This is especially true for the WG who requested additional meeting space beyond the original plan. Options are to plan evening meetings.

2. Please release any room that you are not using for the full time slot listed on the current schedule.  If we find unused space in our walkabout during the meeting you will forfeit the room if it is required by another WG.

3. Meetings assigned to restaurant space must finish at 3pm sharp. (highlighted on schedule)

4. TBC means we currently do not have a meeting room available. Options are to re-schedule the meeting during evening hours.

Please forward any updates and corrections and/or confirmation that your WG information is correct by the end of the day on Thursday, June 18 .

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.

Kind regards,

Darcel
