Re: [802.19] Comments on LAA

G’day all

A number of participants from Broadcom and Google have put some serious effort into reviewing the proposal for IEEE 802 comments on LAA for liaison to 3GPP. Thank you for their efforts.

An updated version has now been uploaded (19-16-0037-01). It is marked up version so all the changes can be seem

I propose that IEEE 802.19 review this next week with a  view to asking the EC to approve liaising it (or a refinement) to 3GPP on Friday.

G’day all

Should I assume that the deafening silence (except for one person who provided me with some mostly editorial changes) is an indication of agreement? J

More seriously, I would appreciate comments sooner rather than later so that we can make the process in Macau as smooth as possible

Subject: [802.19] Comments on LAA

G’day all

It is time to get the LAA comment process going in 802.19. I have uploaded a document (802.19-16/0037r0)  that contains some initial comments.

Feel free to send me additional comments using the same format

·         Situation – something everyone will agree is true

·         Problem – the problem in the context of the situation

·         Solution – what should be done to solve the problem

Also feel free to tell me if I am wrong! J
