With the approval of the IEEE P802.3cg PAR modification on 14 May 2018, the IEEE 802.3 10 Mb/s Backplane Ethernet Study Group has completed its charter. The IEEE P802.3cg Task Force home page is http://www.ieee802.org/3/cg/.

The IEEE 802 LMSC Executive Committee has chartered a Study Group under the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group to develop Project Authorization Request (PAR) and Criteria for Standards Development (CSD) modifications to IEEE P802.3cg to add 10 Mb/s Backplane Ethernet to that project.
