IEEE P802.3bd MAC Control Frame for Priority-based Flow Control Project

The work of the P802.3bd project is now complete with the approval of IEEE Std 802.3bd-2011 at the June 2011 IEEE Standards Board meeting.

The original work for the standard was performed by the IEEE 802.1 Data Centre Bridging Task Group based on a vote by the IEEE 802.3 Working Group at its November 2008 plenary to allow the IEEE 802.1 Data Centre Bridging Task Group to develop an amendment to IEEE Std 802.3 to add a MAC Control Frame to support IEEE 802.1Qbb Priority-based Flow Control.
