[802.3_MAINT] Fwd: [802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3bx) Maintenance #11 (Revision) 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot results



Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3bx) Maintenance #11 (Revision) closed successfully on 21st February 2015.  The results of the ballot were reported earlier and are included in the message below for your reference.

A report of the comments that will be considered at the Task Force meeting next week may be found at the following link. Note that one comment was withdrawn after the close of the ballot leaving 3 comments for consideration.

Dear Colleagues,

The 1st IEEE 802.3 Working Group recirculation ballot on the Revision IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3bx) Maintenance #11 (Revision) closed successfully on 21st February 2015. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The March 2015 IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3bx) Task Force plenary week meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 4 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3bx) Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 267 Voters
 127 Approve
   4 Disapprove
  33 Abstain
 164 Ballots returned

 61.42% Response Rate (> 50% required)
 20.12% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 96.95% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
