Colleagues,

The initial Sponsor ballot on IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3bx) Maintenance #11 (Revision) closed successfully on 24th April 2015.  The results of the ballot were reported earlier and are included in the message below for your reference. Note that the attached message mentions a June interim meeting but the Task will meet during the joint 802.1/802.3 meeting series in May (see <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html>).

The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The June 2015 IEEE P802.3 (IEEE 802.3bx) Task Force interim meeting <http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html> will consider the 104 comments submitted and determine changes to the draft as appropriate. The availability of the comment database will be announced on the IEEE 802.3 Maintenance task force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

        160     Voters
        117     Approve
        6       Disapprove
        11      Abstain
        134     Ballots returned

        83.75%  Response Rate (>= 75% required)
        8.21%   Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
        95.12%  Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
