[802.3af] DTE Power D3.3 Recirculation Ballot

Colleagues:

A gentle reminder on the scope of the D3.3 recirculation of P802.3af. The
ballot is only on the document changes made from D3.2, as indicated by the
change bars and in clause 33 also by strikethrough/underlines. While the
task force is obligated to respond to all comments, any comments that are
out of scope may be rejected for that reason only. This will not apply to
minor editorial comments regarding typographical errors, spelling and
grammar.

It is possible that someone will spot an error or oversight that we all
missed in an unchanged area of the draft. This would be out of scope, but if
clearly important to identify and fix, the task force may make a change in
response to the comment.

Any substantive changes to the document (everything but minor editorial
changes) must be recirculated to the Working Group before the document can
be progressed to Sponsor Ballot. (A new valid negative ballot will also
require a recirculation before going to Sponsor Ballot.) With our schedule
to begin Sponsor Ballot following the November meeting, the task force
should be reluctant to accept anything by essential changes. The entire
document will be open to comment on the Sponsor Ballot.

Thank you for your continued participation and contribution to the
refinement of the P802.3af draft.

Regards,

Steve
