The goal of the meeting is to continue close on the final objectives of work for the first release of this standard. Presentations are solicited on the subjects of: Gap analysis of existing objectives; Terms and definitions; Current RPR MAC proposals and simulation results; PHY Layer Issues;

Anyone wishing to make a presentation should send email to the group chair, Mike Takefman tak@cisco.com. Please include the title of the presentation, the name of the presenter, a filename for the presentation and an estimate of the time required.

All requests for slots must be received by June 11, 2001. Requests after that date will be accepted but may not receive a slot.

A pdf (preferred) ppt (accepted) copy of the presentation must be emailed to the chair  by July 4, 2001. or the presentation slot will be removed from the agenda. Change to presentations after July 5, 2001 require that the presenter be prepared to make the necessary copies on site and provide a final presentation file to the chair or the web-master for upload to the web-site during the meeting. Additionally, if you can bring 8 copies of the presentation on floppy disk it can be distributed directly to other members of the working group. The number of copies required will be determined during the opening of the meeting. If you are one of the first presenters it is suggested that you bring 125 copies to insure that

Presentations may be in colour but should not include large fancy logos as it increases the file size with no increase in information content. A small (tasteful) logo at the upper corner of the slide is acceptable.  A template for a presentation or a motion are available: Blank Presentation; Blank Motion.
