Re: [802SEC] Motion to authorize additional projectors




Yes, Buzz is correct, I did forget to mention that there is $8k in the
November Plenary  budget for equipment.

In response to Tony Jeffree's comment about saving the cost of repairing
this projector because of its age, the repair decision will be made once
we know the cost.  If all that is needed is cleaning and realignment, as
Tony suggests, the cost will be <$300 and it will provide a ready, if
not state of the art, backup at less than a one day rental price.  If
the repair cost is much greater, we will likely decide not to repair. 
The limit on the repair cost in the motion was to give us some decision
room, not a statement that we intend to spend that much.
