Re: [802SEC] ArrayComm claiming their technology to be "Standards-Based (IEEE 802.20)" in CITEL Seminar presentation

Carl and Mat,
Though I am not sure the range of actions the SEC can or may take, I can provide my inputs from an 802.20 Working Group view point.

1.Joanne Wilson was appointed acting Recording Secretary of 802.20 by Gary Robinson after the July Plenary. Clearly if she does not take action to correct this very inappropriate conduct, she should not continue as the Recording Secretary.

2. Ms. Wilson was the losing Liaison Vice Chair candidate in the March 802.20 election. She lost to Eshwar Pittampali, who was not confirmed by the SEC. Ms Wilson's action is a clear criteria for not confirming an officer. The SEC could tell Ms. Wilson that her action represents a significant barrier for future officer-ship within IEEE 802.

3. There maybe other actions the SEC could take including lose of 802.20 membership voting rights.

I strongly agree with Carl that appropriate communication to Ms. Wilson should occur while the meeting is continuing. Carl, thank you bringing this inappropriate action to our attention.
Regards,
Jerry Upton
