Re: [802SEC] IEEE 802 and IETF leadership meeting

Buzz-
I agree about including the head meeting planner from both organizations.
It would seem entirely appropriate that schedules, venues and meeting facilities would be a significant topic within such meetings.

Colleagues, I think it would be an excellent idea if we specifically
invite Dawn to attend this meeting since she is local (Santa Clara) to that
area and can drive to& from the meeting. She could certainly help with any
planning required for the next meeting at the Caribe in Orlando as well as
any provisions for future interactions as well. I believe the IETF meeting
planner is also local to the area (AMS - Fremont) so she could be invited as
well to help facilitate on their side. It would be good to encourage our
meeting planners to interact so we could gain recommendations on non-North
American venues and encourage some future opportunities for back-to-back
sessions in international venues.

I will see if I can arrange to be available for this first meeting but that
would require some extra travel expense for me to be able to participate.
Or maybe I could at least be there as a telecon participant ??? :-)

Thanx, Buzz
