Thanks for sending this to one and all. While the FCC decided on LTE as the technology of choice I can tell you from personal involvement that it wasn’t a “peaceful” decision. Logical maybe.

 

Happily Texas has recently received an “extension” (I hesitate to say renewal) to their 700 MHz STA for PS. As far apart as some of the communities are in West Central and other parts of Texas the 700 MHz propagation characteristics should help improve things.
