FYI but our May meeting is the last opportunity to file a contribution on Question 236 and have it considered this year. Yes, we can (and should) develop more contributions but the June meeting of WP1A is the only F2F meeting of that group this year.

This is additional background information related to the concerns of the ITU-R and Power Line Transmission (PLT) systems in ITU-R Question 236/1 proceeding. 

 

AMENDMENT OF PART 15 REGARDING NEW REQUIREMENTS AND MEASUREMENT GUIDELINES FOR ACCESS BROADBAND OVER POWER LINE SYSTEMS/CARRIER CURRENT SYSTEMS, INCLUDING BROADBAND OVER POWER LINE SYSTEMS.   Denied the Petition for Reconsideration filed by the national association for Amateur Radio, formally known as the American Radio Relay League.
