I see a need for one change.

Specifically, the following text is incorrect:

"...today announced the formation of the IEEE 802.3

Single Twisted Pair 100 Mb/s Ethernet Study Group to explore

the market opportunities and needs for multiple Ethernet speeds

in automotive networking."

==============================================

The above statement exceeds the scope of the Study Group

that is, it is the scope of the group to explore [blah, blah]

for exactly one additional speed and a specific speed at that.

Therefore, I believe that the text should read:

"...today announced the formation of the IEEE 802.3

Single Twisted Pair 100 Mb/s Ethernet Study Group to explore

the market opportunities and needs for a 100 Mb/s speed for

Ethernet in automotive networking."

==============================================

Also, I believe that the new group would have every right to move forward were the existing 1000BASE-T1 group somehow fail or get delayed.

Thus, it is not "multiple" speed in that the project's existence depends in any way on there being another speed around for automotive networking.

(Yes, this is splitting hairs, no, I do not expect this to happen.)
