[802SEC] 802-March 2015 Plenary Session - Social Event, Newcomer Training and University Outreach



Hello everyone — Just a quick reminder about the Social Event, Newcomer Training and University Outreach Programs that will be taking place at the March 2015 IEEE 802 Plenary Session

Social Event


When: Wednesday, March 11 2015, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Where: Estrel Festival Center
 
What: Stars in Concert 
featuring Bette Midler, Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker and Blues Brothers

Cost of the social event is not included in the registration fee. 

Limited tickets for the social are available and can be purchased at the same time as registration or separately at https://802world.wufoo.com/forms/ieee-802-social-registration-fee-march-2015/ 

* Tickets are non refundable. 
* Tickets are transferable.

Ticket Price Includes:  light buffet (served until 8:00 PM) as well as two drink tickets.

Cost:
* Registered Attendee Ticket Price $US 30.00 
* Guest Ticket Price $US 60.00


Newcomer Training for All Working Groups


When: 9:00 AM Monday March 9, 2014
Where: Paris Room at the Estrel Berlin

University Outreach

Tuesday March 10, 2015
Registration Fee: $US 25.00
Registration Limit: 35 Students and or Faculty (first come first serve)
Credentials Required: Valid student/faculty identification required

Meeting Place: Please arrange to pick up your registration badge before 9:00 AM at the IEEE 802 Registration Desk at the Estrel Berlin hotel. Plenary Session event staff will provide you with the name of the meeting room assigned to the University Outreach Program.

The day will start with an orientation session of about one hour long. IEEE 802 University Outreach students and faculty attendees are then free to observe sessions in progress so long as there is adequate space in the room. A list of meetings recommended for observation by the Working Groups (a self guided tour) will be supplied. The day will end with a closing session to provide the opportunity for IEEE 802 University Outreach participants to ask questions about what they have observed.
