[802SEC] Draft Press Release for review - IEEE Std 802.11aj-2018

Please review the attached draft press release and provide any comments to me by Thursday, April 19^th.

An email approval motion will follow comment resolution, as applicable.

 

The draft press release has been developed in coordination with IEEE marketing and communications staff.

Publication of the recently ratified IEEE Std 802.11aj-2018 Amendment 3: Enhancements for Very High
Throughput to Support Chinese Millimeter Wave Frequency Bands (60 GHz and 45 GHz)  is anticipated April 13^th, and
the press release is targeted for early-mid May.
