[802SEC] IEEE 802.11 Mandatory Technical Letter Ballot on P802.11ba Draft 2.0 (Wake Up Radio) Starts Today, ends March 3, 2019

Dear EC members,

 

With this email I am announcing the opening of the 802.11 Initial WG Letter Ballot on P802.11ba D2.0.
This Letter Ballot opens Wednesday January 30, 2019 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59PM) and will close 32 days later on Sunday March 3, 2019 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm).

The previous ballot on P802.11ba D1.0 failed, with 72% approval. The corresponding CAD however was approved in the 802.19 ballot.

In the WG11 January closing plenary, Steve Shellhammer, 802.19 Chair indicated that no additional 802.19 ballot on the (updated per comments received) CAD was required.

 

Ex-officio voters can submit comments through the normal epoll ballot system.

Additionally, if you or members of your WG have comments on the ballot, you are welcome to send comments to me and I will submit them in to the ballot.
