The message announces a 10-day LMSC ballot on "Motion to Rescind
Resolution of 2019 November Motion #8 and Motion #9". The LMSC Chair
has designated to me to conduct this ballot.
•*Background:* During the November 2019 IEE E802 Plenary two motions were
approved to set the March 2022 and March 2023 plenary venues. These
motions were in fact backwards. To more effectively address the correct
venues and locations, I am asking to rescind both of the motions to allow a
clean statement of approved venues and locations going forward.
•Move to rescind the resolution : 2019 November Motion #8 and 2019 November
Motion #9.

Close of EC Ballot: 30 March 2020 (or earlier if 10-day early close
criteria is met).
Early close: As required in subclause 4.1.2 'Voting rules' of the IEEE 802
LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC) Operations Manual, this is notice that
to ensure the release is provided in a timely manner, this ballot may close
early once sufficient responses are received to clearly decide a matter.
Sufficient responses to clearly decide this matter will be based on the
required majority for a motion under subclause 7.1.1 'Actions requiring
approval by a majority vote' item (h), 'Other motions brought to the floor
by members (when deemed in order by the Sponsor Chair)' of the IEEE 802
LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC) Policies and Procedures.
