Dear colleagues,

With this email I would like to announce the start of a LMSC ballot on a draft response to Thailand National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) began a consultation “Draft amendment to technical standards for telecommunications equipment and equipment using the frequency 5.925 – 6.425 GHz”.

Dear EC members,

I would like to request the review of the following draft IEEE 802 LMSC submission by Monday. 15 April 2024, A.O.E, before tentatively asking the EC to consider approval of the submission through a 10-day letter ballot.

Recently, the Thailand National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) began a consultation  “Draft amendment to technical standards for telecommunications equipment and equipment using the frequency 5.925 – 6.425 GHz”, which asks for public opinions

A few 802.18 participants prepared a response with an opinion that supports the administration's proposal and shares with the administration the latest status of a few related projects in both IEEE 802.11 and 802.15  The submission was reviewed and approved by IEEE 802.18 on 21 March 2024 with the following voting results:  9 Yes, 0 No, 2 Abstain.
