IEEE 802 Wireless Architecture Group Mailing-List

The IEEE 802 Wireless Architecture Group (WAG) has a Public Mailing-List or reflector.  You can subscribe or unsubscribe yourself to the reflector by following the following instructions:

If you ever need to get in contact with the owner of the list, if you have trouble subscribing/unsubscribing, or have questions, please send email to:

To subscribe to the IEEE 802 WAG reflector please send an email containing the following text in the body of the message:-

ListServ@ieee.org

Subscribe note 1: Use of the e-mail subscribe instruction requires that you supply your First Name followed by your Last Name and will subscribe the e-mail address from which the e-mail is sourced from. The e-mail subscribe instruction does not support an e-mail address field, if you try to use an e-mail address in the Name fields it will be rejected. If you wish to subscribe an e-mail address other than the one which your e-mail is sourced from, for example the IEEE e-mail alias my.name@ieee.org, you will need to use the ListServ web interface. Use of this web interface will require the creation of a login but once this login has been created it will be used for all IEEE ListServ subscriptions you wish to manage.

Subscribe note 2: Only subscribers to the reflector have the ability to post messages to the reflector.

To unsubscribe from the IEEE 802 WAG reflector please send an email containing the following text in the body of the message:-

This IEEE 802 WAG Reflector is provided to the members of IEEE 802 WAG for the benefit of moving the work of the Wireless 802 Wireless Architecture Group forward.  Communications are expected to be respectful, dignified, and germane to the work of the WAG.

The reflector is not a 'free speech' forum. Subscriptions are granted by the WAG to further its purposes and may be revoked for inappropriate communications. These include, but are not limited to: recruiting, advertising, soliciting, spamming, flaming, whining, and disparaging individuals or companies.

IEEE 802 WAG operates in an open manner. To that end, no material submitted to IEEE 802, or any of its sub-groups, will be accepted or considered if that material contains any statement that places any burden on the recipient(s) with respect to confidentiality or copyright. This policy specifically includes e-mail.

The chair shall enforce this policy.

In addition, please review the IEEE Acceptable Use Practices.

If you ever need to get in contact with the owner of the list, (if you have trouble subscribing/unsubscribing, or have questions about the list itself) please send an email to the IEEE 802 Wireless Architecture Group Chair: Tom Siep
