On April 28, 2008 the IEEE Standards Board Review Committee recommended that IEEE 802.11r D9.0 be published.

On May 9, 2008 the full IEEE Standards Board voted accept the recommendation of the Review Committee and to publish IEEE 802.11r-2008.

Publication should be in the July 2008 time frame.

On March 21, 2008 IEEE 802.11r Draft 9.0 was submitted to the IEEE Standards Board Review Committee.  If the Review Committee has an Early Consideration review in April or May then the submission will be reviewed then; otherwise it will be reviewed at the June 2008 Standards Board meeting

Summary of Activities:

Carried out the third step in the selection process.  Proposal 11-05-0362-01-000r-jit-tap-proposal-text.doc was voted upon with a written downselect/confirmation ballot.  The results were 60-3-0.  Therefor, this proposal is accepted as the basis of the TGr draft.
