As agreed in the closing plenary the 802.11 AANI SC will have three teleconferences: Thursday, 1 December 2016 @ 10:00 am EST Thursday, 15 December 2016 @ 10:00 am EST And Thursday, 5 January 2017 @ 10:00am EST These teleconferences will be used to make progress towards the goals set for the January F2F meeting in Atlanta, GA 15-20 January 2016: ·
Complete the reply liaison statement to RAN2 on “Estimated Throughput” ·
Complete a new liaison to RAN on: 3GPP RAN status and information on radio-level integration between 3GPP/NR and 802.11 system ·
Complete a new liaison to SA on: 3GPP SA status and information on improving WLAN integration in the 3GPP NextGen System ·
Contribute to/support the 802.1 activity to complete an Industry Connections Activity Initiation Document (ICAID). Formation of an IC has been proposed as the way forward in 802.1 OmniRAN Ad Hoc, to progress the “IEEE “5G”
Standard”/IC project. The draft agenda for the Thursday, 1 December 2016 @ 10:00 am EST call is: (Note an agenda slide deck will be posted prior to the meeting.) 1. Continue work on the following liaison statements (LSs) to 3GPP:
a. Reply LS to LS 11-16/1384 from RAN2 on Estimated WLAN Throughput, current working draft in: 11-16/1510r1

Cariou has agreed to coordinate this discussion on the e-mail reflector and be the editor for this LS) b. “Reply” LS to RAN asking RAN to provide some insight on their status and approach to radio-level integration between 3GPP/NR and 802.11.
