Subject: RE: [STDS-802-11] Communication received from Nufront

Dear All,

Having reviewed 11-19/0550r0, a communication from Nefront, and being requested by the WG Chair to schedule teleconferences prior to the May meeting to discuss this communication, I am setting the following two teleconferences, with 10 days’ advance notice.

  1. Monday 8 April 2019 @ 10:00 AM EDT (10:00 PM CST, 7:30 PM IST, 4:00 PM CEST, 7:00 AM PDT)
  2. Tuesday 16 April 2019 @ 10:00 PM EDT (Wednesday 17 April 2019 10:00 AM CST, 7:30 AM IST, 4:00 AM CEST; Tuesday 16 April 2019 7:00 PM PDT)

I have chosen these times base on my availability and an attempt to make the call at an “acceptable” time for worldwide interested parties.   Please note that the second call is conditional on having unfinished business from the first call or contributions that need to be discussed, if there is no additional business to be discussed on the second call I will cancel it.   If there looks to be additional business, beyond what can be dealt with on the two scheduled calls, I will send out notification of any additional calls, with the required 10 days’ notice.

The communication from Nefront isexploring the possibility of further cooperation and integration between EUHT wireless communication technology and the IEEE 802.11 Working Group. As a result, IEEE and Nufront can submit the joint proposal to ITU as 5G standard”.

Tentative Agenda:

  1. Call for Secretary
  2. Administrative: Reminders, Rules, Agenda, Guidelines
  3. Discussion on 11-19/0550r0
  4. Future Teleconference and Session Planning

An agenda will be made available prior to the teleconference and posted to “mentor”, a link will be provided.

Please contact and inform the Chair if you have a contribution for either of these teleconferences.  Thank you.
