The IEEE 802.11 AANI (Advanced Access Network Interface) SC (Standing Committee) has exhausted its agenda and has adjourned.
Therefore: the previously scheduled teleconferences on Thursday 2020-11-05 @ 11:15-13:15 h ET and Monday 2020-22-09 @ 13:30-15.30 h ET are cancelled.
The current focus of the 802.11 AANI SC is to complete the technical report: 11-20/0013: "Draft technical report on interworking between 3GPP 5G network & WLAN" and resolve the comments on 11-20/0013 generated during the 802.11 Comment Collection (CC32), summarized in 11-20/1262.
The 802.11 AANI SC has resolved 106 of the 111 comments receive, leaving 5 comments needing resolution (65 comments were resolved this week).
The 802.11 AANI SC plan to complete the technical report is to discuss and agree text contributions and comment resolutions in the upcoming teleconferences. Resolving all comments prior to the closing plenary of the January 802.11 WG Interim Meeting, with the goal of presenting the final version of the report to the 802.11 WG for approve at the closing plenary of the January 802.11 WG Interim Meeting.
Contributions to achieve this goal are requested, please inform the Chair of any planned contributions.
The scheduled 802.11 AANI SC teleconferences are:
- Tuesday 17 November 9:00am-10:00am ET: comment resolution
- Tuesday 24 November 9:00am-10:00am ET: comment resolution
- Tuesday 1 December 9:00am-10:00am ET: comment resolution
- Tuesday 8 December 9:00am-10:00am ET: comment resolution
- Tuesday 15 December 9:00am-10:00am ET: comment resolution
- Tuesday 5 January 9:00am-10:00am ET: comment resolution
If no contributions are provided the teleconferences may be cancelled.
Note: contribution on other topics in the scope of the 802.11 AANI SC are also welcome.
