--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 ARC Reflector ---
ARC and REVmc types, I have updated my submission with the proposed replacement drawings for Figures 5-1 and 5-2 in REVmc, here;
https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/13/11-13-0115-11-0arc-considerations-on-ap-architectural-models.doc . This is per discussion in Beijing, with these changes: - Add a Mesh Gate option for the dotted box choices (near the top of the stack), similar to the AP or Mesh STA options - Requested to make the description box for the dotted box “connect” to the dotted box with a “peephole” visual. However, I can’t figure out how to do that and get things to fit in a compact enough drawing to still fit on a page without
becoming even more tiny print. So, I tried to just add an arrow like the other labelling arrows.
Please comment! - Add arrows in the DA address filtering option (for non-AP STA) of the dotted box options - Move the Duplicate Detection function lower in stack (where it is in the current Figure 5-1) - The mesh options (Mesh STA and Mesh Gate) in the options box for Figure 5-1 are not applicable to Figure 5-2 (mesh can’t be combined with FST), so indicate that on those options. Please let me know if anyone has further comments. I hope to have this finalized for the Waikoloa meeting and Draft 3.0. Thanks. Mark |
