--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 ARC Reflector ---
All, A reminder, that I’m looking for any feedback (or even interest) from reviewing 11-12/1613r1 (link is in the email just below). If anyone has comments, or is planning to review and might have comments soon, please let me know. Thanks. Mark From: mark.hamilton2152@xxxxxxxxx <mark.hamilton2152@xxxxxxxxx> All, (action requested, below) There is an active comment in the IEEE Std 802REVc project balloting, that is requesting that the Annex that is specific to 802.11 (Annex B.2) and provides a description (and some diagrams) of the 802.11 reference model, add some text that describes the “GLK model” of overall 802.11 architecture. Currently, that text discusses/describes architecture models for peer-to-peer, infrastructure, and mesh. The comment suggests that GLK should be added as a fourth model. Joseph Levy and I have worked up a proposal for this text, here: https://mentor.ieee.org/802.11/dcn/23/11-23-1613-01-0arc-proposed-text-for-addition-of-glk-to-802revc-clause-b-2.docx This was reviewed briefly during the ARC meeting at the Atlanta F2F session. But, there were not very many members in attendance at that meeting. So, this is a CALL FOR REVIEW of the document, before we hand it off to the 802REVc group for incorporation into IEEE Std 802. If anyone has comments on the document, please respond here (this ARC reflector) no later than Wed Oct 18, and we’ll determine how to discuss/proceed. Thanks!
