--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 ARC Reflector ---
All, With my apologies… I am considered cancelling what would have been scheduled as an ARC meeting slot on Monday AM2, leaving us with Tuesday PM1 and Thursday AM2. In reviewing the materials ready for discussion in ARC this week, I note the following: - Harry Bims, our proponent on the Annex G replacement work, is not available on Monday or Tuesday, due to activities on other WGs. So, we’ll discuss Annex G on Thursday AM2.
- On the L4S topic, we had consensus in the last session to see how the consideration of this topic proceeds in TGbn and REVmf, and bring it up within ARC if/when there seems to be value in coordinating with 802/802.1, IETF, etc. where ARC’s liaison relationships (and work on broader architectural topics of how 802.11 fits into the larger picture) would be helpful. As such, I do not anticipate significant, if any, discussion on L4S in ARC this week.
- I’m also not aware of any IEEE Std 802 work that needs further ARC attention this week.
- I did promise (and hence my apology above) to get the ARC group kick-started on the activities within 802.11 itself, related to the IEEE Std 802 updates. My apology is that I have not made much progress in preparing this topic. I hope to have some materials ready for Tuesday PM1, and we can have some discussion then. But, it is unlikely to be fruitful to discuss Monday morning.
If anyone had any plans or desire to have a discussion or presentation during the Monday AM2 slot, and this would disrupt your plan, please let me know before the CAC meeting this (Sunday) evening. Otherwise, I will withdraw the ARC meeting slot on Monday AM2. Thanks! Mark
