--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Chairs' Advisory Committee Reflector ---
Hello all, I stupidly (but then most actions taken after a long week are stupid) updated the calendar, but inserted all the meetings in my personal calendar. You should now see them in the 802.11 calendar.
The information required to use join.me is here:
http://www.ieee802.org/11/joinme.html there’s a link from the 802.11 home page. If there is anything missing from this information, please let me know and I will update it. So please either insert a link to this information or cut and paste from it for consistency in making your announcements. As a reminder, do not *start* a meeting unless you are that meeting’s chair. I have had several instances where a CAC member mistakenly does a “start” when joining some other group’s meeting. The effect is to kick everybody off the
desktop sharing and start a new desktop sharing session. If you are chairing a meeting that abuts a previous meeting, please take extra care. Try joining the meeting first and coordinate handover of the presenter role with the former meeting’s chair. When you set up the Join.me, please do send the full info. It produces a link that is meeting specific to give the global time (to help those that may miscalculate) and a list of phone numbers that seem to me to vary slightly from call to call...(I could be wrong, but
it seemed so). Adrian, The 802.11 calendar still does not have the telecon entries that I can see. Thanks, Jon
