Hello Mark, I used this list as a starting point to create a list of URLs for the boilerplate. Then I realised two issues: 1.
They are not complete. e.g. the reference for the patent policy is the slideset, but that does not define the policy. The SB OM is not cited. 2.
Having too many references to version-numbered documents creates a maintenance headache. I’d rather do that in one place. So that’s why I ended up with the text I did. As long we point out the rules under which meeting operate and provide an indirect route to the rules, I think we are OK. Adrian, I don’t know where I originally got this list of “policies”, but this is what I’ve cut-and-pasted into all my meetings for the last several years. Is anything on here (and not in your list) useful to add to your list?
(I think that would be: Letter of Assurance Form, and 802 WG P&P.) Or, should I remove the extra stuff from my list? (Does anyone care?

On Behalf Of Stephens, Adrian P --- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Chairs' Advisory Committee Reflector ---
Dear CAC chairs, I am developing boilerplate to be autogenerated for WG telecon entries that are initially populated in the Google Calendar. So far I have come up with: “ The agenda for this meeting, and bridge details will be announced in advance by its chair on the meeting's email reflector. You can find a web-accessible copy of the IEEE 802.11 meeting reflectors here:
http://www.ieee802.org/11/email/. The default bridge, if none is specified, is describe here:
http://www.ieee802.org/11/joinme.html. The conduct of this meeting is governed by IEEE, IEEE-SA and IEEE LMSC policies, which include: - IEEE Patent Policy - Ethics - 802 LMSC P&P - 802LMSC Operations Manual (OM) Links to the documents or web-pages describing the policies may be found here:
http://www.ieee802.org/11/Rules/rules.shtml. The following documents provide additional information on the governing IEEE policies: - Patent FAQ (http://standards.ieee.org/faqs/patents.pdf) - Affiliation FAQ (http://standards.ieee.org/faqs/affiliation.html) - Anti-Trust FAQ (http://standards.ieee.org/develop/policies/antitrust.pdf) In addition, the conduct of this meeting is governed by IEEE 802.11 Operations Manual (OM), which is also linked from here:
http://www.ieee802.org/11/Rules/rules.shtml.” BRC meeting announcements will lack the last para. Please provide suggestions to any changes to the boilerplate. Constraints are this is plain text boilerplate, i.e. something (except for the BRC-ness) that will not vary per TG and cannot include hot links Best Regards, Adrian P STEPHENS Tel: +44 (1793) 404825 (office) ---------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________________________________________
