Dear CAC members,
A very Happy New Year 2022 to everyone.
I hope you were able to take time off over the Christmas/New Year period to rest and recharge, especially given the personal and professional challenges during the pandemic.
The inability to meet in person does have impact, and I acknowledge that this has made aspects of our work more difficult. I hope that we can meet in person at some level this year.
Our next CAC teleconference to prepare for the upcoming January Interim session is tomorrow, January 6th at 9AM Eastern.
Please let me know of any agenda requests. The draft CAC agenda is below.

2022-01-06 802.11 CAC-2 for January 2022 Electronic Session
1. Attendance
2. September 2021 follow-up items
- September registration status – any individuals not paid will be removed from the voter list and 802.11 reflectors Feb 1, 2022
3. November 2021 follow-up items
- November registration status - unpaid attendees
- Reminder: Please post subgroup minutes and send webpage and timeline updates to Stephen McCann
4. January 2022
- January Interim will count towards voting rights in the same way as an in-person interim session
- Update draft agenda graphic
- Any WG11 plenary requests
- Planned ballots out of the January meeting
5. Registration reminder slide for chairs to use in agenda announcements
- Paid registration for the January 2022 meeting is required.
- Robert to prepare & sent out a slide for all TG/SG/SCs to use in their agenda decks to remind attendees of the registration requirement.
6. Future meetings
- January 2022 (was Panama) – Will be electronic, same fee structure as September 2022
- March 2022 – EC Decision on December 7 for all electronic
- Registration fee structure for the March 2022 meeting being updated due to venue cancellation penalties. Expect fee structures going forward to be more inline with in-person rates.
- May 2022 – Warsaw. Decision on in-person/hybrid/electronic planned February 2, 2022. Update on Wireless Chairs meeting using the MTG Event hybrid meeting tool.
