Re: [STDS-802-11-CAC] DVL invite - Mid-Week Plenary - Do Not Forward

--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Chairs' Advisory Committee Reflector ---

Hello Stephen,

- The times should be local times, especially for F2Fs, since at least

back in May the handling of summer time was wrong so the times given

were wrong

[SM] I understand that the IEEE 802 rules state that all meeting times should be advertised in ET.

Um, well, most of our opening plenary slides didn't advertise times in ET,

but in any case even if we do adopt this parochial rule, we should make sure

the time is correct.  See attached.

Thanks,

Mark

Hello,

Didn't we discuss last time stuff like:

- What's the point of saying DO NOT FORWARD if (a) everyone gets the

same URL and (b) you have to login anyway (so (c) lots of people immediately

post the link the Webex chat because half the participants can't find

the email)?

[SM] Yes, I agree. It's not necessary and I will remove it.

Hello Stephen,

I noted that the website said at about 14:47 CEST == 12:47 UTC == 07:47 ET:

Submitted May 14, 2025 8:47 AM Eastern Time (UTC -5)

but I think ET is currently on UTC-4, not UTC-5.  Can you ask whoever's

in charge of the DVL tool to check their timezones?

Thanks,

Mark
