On Behalf Of Edgard Vangeel (evangeel) The European Commission today during a Digital Europe meeting confirmed that they are working on a Mandate to be addressed (in 2013) to the CEPT to study the coexistence of Wireless Access Systems including Wi-Fi
in the (entire) 5 GHz spectrum (5350-5470 MHz and the 5725 to 5925 MHz). I would like to remind WFA members that CEPT is currently doing an ECC Report on DFS. The outcome of this report could have a negative impact on our attempts to have more spectrum in 5 GHz. Therefore I would
like to invite WFA members to participate an ad-hoc meeting of CEPT ECC SRDMG that is preparing this ECC report on DFS.
The meeting will take place in Brussels on 29 and 30 November. Cisco is hosting this meeting. See below link for more details. http://www.cept.org/ecc/groups/ecc/wg-fm/srdmg/client/meeting-calendar/event-details?meetingid=630 Please consider participating this meeting.
