I propose to insert one sentence into 802.11-13/444r1 page 49 last part of second paragraph, as underlined below: IEEE 802.11 agrees with the NTIA report that additional study is needed[1]
and agrees with NTIA characterization of mitigation techniques known today.[2]
IEEE 802.11 notes that Industry input for 5 GHz sharing was submitted in September, 2012, and does not reflect any potential uses of the 3550-3650 MHz band that is subject to FCC 12-148 NPRM and Order, adopted December 12, 2012. More information will
need to be known in order for the commercial industry to put forward potential sharing ideas. We look forward to reviewing the NTIA report on this issue.
