[STDS-802-11-TGAC] Security Discussion in TGac (CIDs 6198 and 6513)

Hello All,

 

During the July IEEE 802.11 meeting, Dan Harkins and Andrew Myles presented 11-12/0711r0 and 11-12/0946r1 in the context of the resolution of CIDs 6198 and 6513. No straw polls were taken to give everyone the opportunity to review the material with security experts. The agreement was to continue the discussion during one or more of the TGac Telecons.

 

Consulting with Brian, Dan, and Andrew, it seems that the telecon scheduled for August 23 at 10:00 ET is a suitable time to continue the discussion as planned. The plan is to spend part or all of the call discussing the related issues. I’ll send a reminder before August 23. In the mean time, please review 11-12/0711 and 11-12/0946r1 and be prepared to raise an issues you may have.
