Re: [STDS-802-11-TGAI] naming in 0840r1

Hi George, Marc, and all,
I understand that TGai will discuss the naming issue in 0840r1 in this PM2 session and the proposal is to remove the word "secure". I have a question as follows that may be very basic:

Maybe there is a historical reason that the FILS Container Action frame bears the name of "Container". But after all the dust settled down, the only information carried in this action frame is FILS IP Address Assignment element. And this element is processed by the AP, right? Then why do we still call this Action frame "FILS Container Action frame"? "Container" usually implies that the content is transparent to the AP, which is not the case here. Why don't just name this action frame "FILS IP Address Assignment Action frame"? In this way, it is very clear what the action is.

Thanks,
