Dear Adrian and All, Thank you Adrian for your information and suggestions about being an editor in 802.11. I think I can also share my experience with the prospective sub-editor. I understand that we need to work together and try to avoid leaving editorial and grammar mistakes to letter ballot. TGaj intends to collect comment on merged draft version (60+45GHz) after September meeting. Hopefully such kind of mistakes can be fixed before letter ballot. With this email, I would like to nominate Shiwen HE from Southeast University (China) for the position of TGaj sub-editor(45GHz). Shiwen is one of the main contributors for technical proposals (TGaj 45GHz). Also he is a quick learner and created TGaj D0.6 by using Framemaker. I believe he is qualified for this position. Thank you, Kind Regards, Jiamin CHEN TGaj vice-chair & editor ----------------------------------------------------- Research Department, HiSilicon HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES CO.,LTD E-mail: jiamin.chen@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 发件人: *** 802.11 TGaj - China Mill-meter Wave *** [mailto:STDS-802-11-TGAJ@xxxxxxxx] 代表 Stephens, Adrian P Dear prospective TGaj sub-editors, Editing is a very useful job. You get to enable progress in the task group. You get to know the material well. Everybody is pleased with what you do :0). I encourage any prospective editors to speak to myself or Peter Ecclesine about what the job entails. We can provide on-the-job training and mentoring within 802.11 for those without previous editing experience. There is a regular 7:00am editors meeting at a session. All editors are required to attend this. Please come along and find out what we talk about. A reasonable knowledge of English language and grammar is necessary. The editor should correct such mistakes from submissions in TGaj, without relying on WG letter ballot comments to correct such issues. Best Regards, Adrian P STEPHENS Tel: +44 (1793) 404825 (office) ---------------------------------------------- From: *** 802.11 TGaj - China Mill-meter Wave *** [mailto:STDS-802-11-TGAJ@xxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Peng Xiaoming (I2R) Dear All, The nomination for TGaj sub-editor for 45Ghz is open.
