[STDS-802-11-TGAY] Task Group AY leadership reaffirmation

​Hi,

From the IEEE 802.11 Operation Manual:
[1]  TG Vice-Chair is elected by a TG majority approval and confirmed by a WG majority approval.  The Vice-Chair is reaffirmed every 2 years; one session after the WG Chair is elected.
[2]  The TG Secretary shall be appointed by the TG Chair and confirmed by a TG motion that is approved with a minimum 50% majority.  The TG Secretary is reaffirmed every 2 years; one session after the WG Chair is elected.

In the forthcoming May interim, I will ask the Task Group to consider reaffirming SangHyun Chang and Jeorge Hu​rtarte as Vice Chair and Secretary, respectively.   The reaffirmation motion is tentatively scheduled in the last session, namely Thursday AM2.  In addition, the Working Group will be considering a motion to reaffirm all standing committee, task groups and TIG chairs, including myself as a Chair of Task Group AY.

Please let me know if there is any question or comment on the leadership reaffirmation ​procedure.
