Subject: [STDS-802-11-TGM] August 9th call: Discuss on TGmd CID#64 (DMG OFDM)
To:
STDS-802-11-TGM@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx--- This message came from the IEEE 802.11 Task Group M Technical Reflector ---
Hi,
For the August 9th call, the main agenda item is to discuss on TGmd CID #64, which is about an obsolete feature, DMG OFDM, in IEEE 802.11-2016 standards.
TGmd would like us to provide feedback on whether it is an appropriate time to remove the DMF OFDM from the standards, and if so, (1) which clauses/sub-clauses should be removed/modified, and (2) whether is there any impact to the development of our draft amendment.
I've posted the August 9th agenda slide deck (17/1187r0) on mentor and I've prepared a short background on this topic.
Dial-in information can be found at the end of this email.
Regards,
Edward
