Hello all,

As for other leadership positions (TG chair, secretary and Technical editor) see below.

I plan to ask the WG chair to be re-appointed for TGaz chair, subject to re-affirmation by the WG.

TGaz secretary, group to consider re-affirm during the 2^nd slot for the week (Tue. PM2).

Also note that the current TG vice chair, Carlos Aldana, indicated he will not be able to continue serving past the May meeting and as announce

vice chair position elections for TGaz will take place during the July meeting.

Please let me know if you’re planning the position before the elections.

Task Group Chair

The TG Chair shall be appointed by the WG Chair and confirmed by a WG majority approval. The TG Chair is re-affirmed every 2 years: one session after the WG Chair is elected.

Task Group Secretary

The TG Secretary shall be appointed by the TG Chair and confirmed by a TG motion that is approved with a minimum 50% majority. The TG Secretary is re-affirmed every 2 years; one session after the WG Chair is elected.

Task Group Technical Editor

The TG Technical Editor shall be appointed by the TG Chair and confirmed by a TG majority approval. (no requirement to re-affirm the editor)

Hello all,

TGaz vice chair, Carlos A., indicated to me he will not be able to continue serving his role past the May meeting.

Accordingly TGaz will run an election process for vice chair position past the May meeting.

Plan is as follows:

1. Call for TGaz vice chair nominations, coming out of the May meeting.

2. TGaz vice chair elections, during the July meeting.

A separate email will make a call for nominations.

As per WG operational manual affirmation of other TG leadership positions will occur during the May meeting as needed.

I would like to take the opportunity and thank Carlos for his contribution to the TG effort, the TG will also have the opportunity to recognize Carlos during the May meeting.s
